The Tusheti region is located in the Great Caucasus mountains in Georgia. Experience unforgettable 30km plus descents from 2800metres. The only access leading to this area is a pathway which goes over a pass at almost 3000 m high. This road had been built by the Soviet after the 2nd WW and its known as one of the most dangerous roads in the world. Perfect for extreme seekers. The Tusheti is reachable by car just during summer season.
That is the reason why it remains a very hidden mountainous region and the inhabitants still live with their old customs. From June till October, we are offering opportunity to explore this region. Visit the ancient fortifications of Omalo “keselo towers” only found in tusheti and parts of Chechnya and Dagistan. Spend two nights surrounded by beautiful views. Starting from Tbilisi we would drive through Caucasus mountains with jeeps and the most experienced drivers. You would stay in best guesthouses in region and enjoy mountainous breakfast and dinner!
